My name is Lisa and my tech guy said I must write a short biography for my web page. So here is what I know.
Along with my massage license I am also a Licensed Vocational Nurse. I believe having 20 years of medical experience helps me immensely with massage therapy. But that is just the beginning of where my skill comes from. God has blessed me with the knowledge, skill and insight to find the muscles that are tight and knotted and help relieve much of that tightness.
Let me start by saying, “I LOVE WHAT I DO!” I know I have a servant’s heart and a longing to make people feel better. I continually look for and take classes that help me in my massage treatments. I know that relaxation massage has numerous health benefits and use this technique often. Sometimes to get to the extremely tight knots it is necessary to use deep pressure and/or trigger point, and myofascial release just to name a few techniques. I am always looking for new techniques to use to help my clients feel better.
I am married to the most wonderful man on earth. We have 2 grown boys and couple of grands. We also have 2 fur babies dogs, and a feather baby. All are pretty well spoiled! Lol
My biggest weakness is (shhh, don’t tell anyone) movies. I love movies. Mostly murder mysteries, some romance, even sci-fi. As long as the language doesn’t prove worse than the plot I am likely to watch!
Well, enough about me. Come on in and let’s see what I can find out about you!
Acts of Healing Massage Therapy
After working 20 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, I started Acts of Healing here in Jefferson in 2013 in a tiny cottage on W Clarksville St (a block that Google Maps incorrectly identifies as E Clarksville!) and in 2016, moved just next door into the larger building in which I now operate.
My business allows me greater independence and the freedom to address directly the pains and discomforts that my clients would otherwise carry through their daily lives.
Call Now for an Appointment
Services are available Tuesday - Saturday by appointment only. My schedule stays quite busy, but clients' schedules often change, even at the last minute. Please feel free to call or email, firstname.lastname@example.org, even at the last minute, to inquire about a massage. Who knows, I may have an unexpected opening.
For the most favorable scheduling, try to inquire as far in advance as possible.
